The award “The Bank of the Year 2013” was handed over to the Uzbek bank at the ceremony, which was held in London, Great Britain, on 29 November 2013.

The Uzbek bank said that the award is evidence for success of the bank in 2013. Turonbank was selected due to its important role in the financial system of Uzbekistan, implementation of strategic goals and its stability.

The bank said that the award will motivate it to further development and success in the future. The bank will continue to offer new and actual services to its clients.

The Banker, which has been part of Financial Times since 1926, annually publishes rating of the best banks from 150 countries of the world. The awards are conferred after survey of experts in banking and financial sector.
