The average monthly nominal accrued wages in Uzbekistan increased by 21.6%

 

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-June 2020, the average monthly nominal accrued wages in the Republic of Uzbekistan made up 2.55 million soums and increased by 21.6% compared to the same period of 2019, the State Statistics Committee reported.

Significantly lower than the average national level, the average monthly nominal accrued wages were in health care and the provision of social services - by 30.4%, education - by 22.9%. Significantly higher than the average republican level, it is observed in banking, insurance, leasing and credit and intermediary activities - by 113.7%, in information and communications - by 62.2%.

The results of the analysis showed that, by type of economic activity, compared to the corresponding period of 2019, there was an increase in the average monthly nominal accrued wages, so a significant increase was noted in banking, insurance, leasing and credit intermediation activities - by 33.4%, transportation and storage - by 28.5%.

In the field of education, the average monthly nominal accrued wages made up 1.96 million soums and increased, compared to the same period in 2019, by 17.0%.

Above the national average level, the average monthly nominal accrued wages in this area were in Tashkent city - 139.6%, Syrdarya - 102.0%, Tashkent - 100.2% regions and the Republic of Karakalpakstan - 100.2%.

Significantly lower level of the average monthly nominal accrued wages in education, in comparison with the average republican, was formed in Surkhandarya - 95.6%, Khorezm - 92.0%, Ferghana - 90.9% and Kashkadarya - 88.7% regions.

The level of the average monthly nominal accrued wages for this type of economic activity is significantly lower in the Republic of Karakalpakstan - 82.3%, Kashkadarya - 72.8%, Ferghana - 71.3% and Jizzakh - 39.9% regions.

In a number of regions, for such an activity as trade, the level of the average monthly nominal accrued wages was higher than the national average.

So, it was higher in Syrdarya region - 24.9%, Tashkent city - 12.5%, Navoi - 9.2%, Jizzakh - 5.2% and Tashkent - 3.0% regions.

At the same time, in nine regions, the level of the average monthly nominal accrued wages in this area was lower than the national average.

The level of the average monthly nominal accrued wages for this type of economic activity was significantly lower in Kashkadarya - 84.5%, Namangan - 82.0%, Bukhara - 75.3% and Samarkand - 74.7% regions.

In a number of regions, there was a high level of the average monthly nominal accrued wages in this area.

Above the national average, it was formed in Navoi region - 132.7%, Tashkent city - 111.4%, Andijan region - 108.2%, the Republic of Karakalpakstan - 108.2% and Tashkent region - 100.4%.

At the same time, in nine regions, the level of the average monthly nominal accrued wages in this area was lower than the national average.

The level of the average monthly nominal accrued wages in this type of economic activity was significantly lower in Khorezm - 73.1%, Jizzakh - 65.3%, Namangan - 62.6% and Syrdarya - 61.6% regions.

In this area, the level of average monthly nominal accrued wages, in comparison with the average republican, was significantly higher in Khorezm region - 126.8%, it was also higher than the average republican one in Tashkent - 114.0%, the Republic of Karakalpakstan - 105.0% and Bukhara region - 104.4%.

Along with this, in ten regions of the country the level of the average monthly nominal accrued wages in this area was below the national average.

Significantly lower than the national average in the field of transportation and storage, it was formed in Tashkent - 50.5%, Syrdarya - 49.3%, Jizzakh - 46.6 and Andijan - 45.8%.

In the republic as a whole, in January-June 2020, compared to the same period of 2019, the average monthly nominal accrued wages in the banking, insurance, leasing and credit-intermediary sectors increased by 33.4%, in the transportation and storage sector - by 28, 5%, healthcare and social services - 23.4%, construction - 21.9%, arts, entertainment and recreation - 17.8%, industry - 17.4%, education - 17.0% , trade - by 16.3%, information and communication - by 9.8%.

In the field of education, the average monthly nominal accrued wages in April 2020 made up 1.78 million soums, in May – 1.83 million soums, in June – 1.91 million soums.

In this area, the average monthly nominal accrued wages, as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, increased by 17.0%.

In the field of industry, the average monthly nominal accrued wages in April 2020 made up 3346.9 thousand soums, in May - 3759.3 thousand, in June - 3665.8 thousand soums.

In the field of healthcare and the provision of social services, the average monthly nominal accrued wages in April 2020 made up 1.7 million soums, in May - 1.76 million soums, in June- 1.76 million soums.

By type of economic activity, trade, the average monthly nominal accrued wages in April 2020 made up 2.33 million soums, in May – 2.51 million soums, in June – 2.4 million soums.

By the type of economic activity, construction, the average monthly nominal accrued wages in April 2020 made up 3.18 million soums, in May – 3.31 million soums, in June – 3.2 million soums.

In banking, insurance, leasing and credit-intermediary activities, the average monthly nominal accrued wages in April 2020 made up 5.19 million soums, in May – 6.1 million soums, in June – 5.14 million soums.

In the field of transportation and storage, the average monthly nominal accrued wages in April 2020 reached 3.26 million soums, in May – 3.45 million soums, June – 3.4 million soums.

If we consider the average monthly nominal accrued wages in the context of regions, then the highest level was in Tashkent – 3.63 million soums, Navoi region – 3.37 million soums and Tashkent region – 2.69 million soums.

On the contrary, a low level of average monthly nominal accrued wages, in relation to the national average, was observed in Surkhandarya – 2.1 million soums, Jizzakh – 2.08 million soums, Samarkand – 2.04 million soums, Namangan – 2.04 million soums and Kashkadarya – 1.99 million soums.

In the context of the territory, the level of the average monthly nominal accrued wages, in comparison with the national average, was higher in the city of Tashkent - 142.6%, Navoi - 132.3% and Tashkent - 105.7% regions. On the contrary, compared with the average republican, it was lower, in particular, in Surkhandarya - 82.0%, Jizzakh - 81.8%, Samarkand - 80.1%, Namangan - 80.1% and Kashkadarya - 78.1% regions. ...

According to the Decree of the President "On measures to ensure the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan" On the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020 ", from 1 February 2020, the minimum wage set at 679,330 soums.
