The average monthly nominal accrued salary in Uzbekistan makes up 2.21 million soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - In January-September 2019, the average monthly nominal accrued salary in the Republic of Uzbekistan made up 2.21 million soums (including allowances for salaries, remuneration, incentive payments, compensation payments and payment for unworked time) , as well as withholding tax on individuals and the union fund), and increased, compared to the same period of 2018, by 31.2%.

Analysis of the average monthly nominal accrued wages for January-September 2019 showed the following.

In the field of education, 1.01 million people work in 23,298 institutions (the share in the total number of employees in the republic is 38.0%), the salary fund accrued to these employees made up 15.96 trillion soums (the share in the salary fund payments in the republic - 30.1%).

In the field of education, the average monthly nominal accrued salary made up 1.75 million soums and increased by 36.7% compared to the same period in 2018.

Compared with the national average, it was significantly higher in Tashkent - 129.9%, Tashkent - 103.2%, Jizzakh - 101.9%, and Namangan - 101.2%.

Along with this, in eight regions of the country, the level of average monthly nominal accrued wages in this area was lower than the national average.

Significantly lower it has developed in Surkhandarya - 95.6%, Khorezm - 94.5%, Ferghana - 92.1% and Kashkadarya regions - 90.2%.

In a number of regions, a high level of average monthly nominal accrued wages in the industry was observed compared with the national average.

It is much higher in Navoi region - 122.7%, Tashkent - 115.4%, the Republic of Karakalpakstan - 112.6% and Tashkent region - 105.5%.

At the same time, in nine regions, the level of average monthly nominal accrued wages in this area was lower than the national average. Significantly lower it was noted in Surkhandarya - 70.0%, Namangan - 63.3%, Jizzakh - 62.9% and Syrdarya - 62.8% of the regions.

Compared with the average republican level in the field of healthcare and the provision of social services, a relatively high level of average monthly nominal accrued wages was established in Tashkent - 118.6%, Bukhara region - 111.9%, the Republic of Karakalpakstan - 111.0% and Syrdarya region - 109.0%.

In nine regions, the level of average monthly nominal accrued wages was lower than the national average in this area. In particular, it was lower in Navoi - 95.7%, Fergana - 94.5%, Tashkent - 93.4% and Kashkadarya - 80.9% of the regions.

If we consider the average monthly nominal accrued wages in the field of transportation and storage, then the highest level is observed in Tashkent - 121.2%, it is also higher than the average republican level in Bukhara - 101.9% of the region.

Along with this, in twelve regions of the country, the level of average monthly nominal accrued wages in this area was lower than the national average.

A low level of average monthly wages in the field of transportation and storage was formed in Syrdarya - 53.1%, Jizzakh - 51.6%, Samarkand - 48.9% and Andijan - 40.3%, which is significantly lower than the average republican level.

A high level of average monthly nominal accrued wages, compared with the national average, was observed in this area in Tashkent - 131.0%. In thirteen regions, the level of average monthly nominal accrued wages in this area was lower than the national average. Significantly lower it developed in the Tashkent - 76.9%, Syrdarya - 76.5%, Kashkadarya - 75.0% and Surkhandarya - 74.6% regions.

In the whole country for January-September 2019, compared to the same period of last year, the average monthly nominal accrued salary in the field of accommodation and food services increased by 39.0%, health care and the provision of social services - by 37.6%, education - by 36.7%, banking, insurance, leasing and credit and intermediary - by 36.5%, information and communications - 24.9%, construction - by 23.2%, industry - by 22.7%.

If we consider the average monthly nominal accrued wages by regions, the highest level was in Tashkent – 3.19 million soums (relative to the average republican level - 144.3%), Navoi – 2.84 million soums (128.4% ) and Tashkent – 2.38 million soums (107.9%) regions, on the contrary, a low level of wages was in Ferghana – 1.81 million soums (82.1%), Namangan – 1.81 million soums ( 81.9%), Samarkand – 1.8 million soums (81.4%) and Surkhandarya – 1.79 million soums (81.1%) regions.
