Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Following the results of a competition for the allocation of a state social order from the Public Fund for Support of Non-Governmental Organizations and Other Civil Society Institutions under the Oliy Majlis, the Association of Guides of the Republic of Uzbekistan has launched the project "Increasing the capacity of guides".
Representatives of the Association visited Navoi and Bukhara regions within the framework of the creation of the School of Mentors (Ustozlar maktabi) and the creation of photo and video materials for pilgrimage and ecological tours. During the visit, they visited the unique mausoleums of Mir Said Bakhrom and Kosym-sheikh, as well as the Rabati Malik caravanserai and the Sardoba water storage, the tombs of seven Sufis, popularly called the "Seven Feasts", the mausoleum of the Sufi sheikh Sayfiddin Boharzi, the Khodinaji Zaynazhi complex Chor-Bakr necropolis and much more.
Materials collected on these sites will be included in the curriculum for specialist guides on pilgrimage tours.
