The Association of Guides of Uzbekistan begins to create tours combining ecological and pilgrim routes

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Today, during the crisis caused by the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic worldwide, one of the important tasks is to preserve, revive and develop the tourism industry in our country.

In particular, during quarantine activities in connection with a pandemic, it is advisable to introduce new types of tourist routes and services. In this regard, non-governmental non-profit organizations conduct a number of events.

The Association of Guides of Uzbekistan began to create tours combining the ecological and pilgrim directions. The first of these tours will be held in the north-eastern part of the Tashkent region. For the first time in Uzbekistan, tourists will be offered routes combining the unique beauty of nature and a place of pilgrimage.

The trip will undoubtedly be interesting to our compatriots and guests of our country. The new tourist route includes Khodjikent petroglyphs, the Charvak reservoir, stone houses in the village of Burchmulla, the pilgrimage complex of Sheikh Umar Vali Bogustani in the village of Bogustan and the mysterious cave, which, according to local stories, was visited by Bahauddin Naqshbandi, the founder of the Naqshbandi tariqah.

"Communication with hospitable residents of the villages of Yakkutut and Nanai, Tashkent region, beautiful landscapes of the area will not leave anyone indifferent," said Nargiza Salomova, chairman of the Association of Guides of Uzbekistan
