Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The assets of commercial banks of Uzbekistan as of 1 January 2024 amounted to 652.16 trillion soums The real increase in assets compared to 2022 was 12%. This is evidenced by data from the Central Bank of Uzbekistan.

According to the regulator, bank assets in foreign currency at the end of 2023 exceeded 291.79 trillion soums

Credit investments of commercial banks as of 1 January 2024 amounted to 471.41 trillion soums, which is 16% more compared to 1 January 2023.

Loans in foreign currency amounted to 212.36 trillion soums

Deposits in the reporting period increased by 9% and amounted to 241.69 trillion soums as of January 1, 2024. Deposits in foreign currency exceeded 72.17 trillion soums

The total capital of commercial banks as of 1 January 2024 reached 97.08 trillion soums. Real growth compared to 2022 was 22%.
