Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Anti-crisis fund received about 1.6 trillion soums, according to the data of the Ministry of Finance of Uzbekistan.

The anti-crisis fund in the amount of 10 trillion soums was created under the Ministry of Finance in accordance with the decree of the President of Uzbekistan.

The profitable part of the fund in the amount of 1.596 trillion soums was formed from credit funds of international financial institutions and governments (998.3 billion soums), as well as from the state budget of Uzbekistan (598.5 billion soums).

According to the Ministry of Finance, the expenses of the Fund reached 756 billion soums. About 411 billion soums were allocated for the construction of hospitals, quarantine institutions and their equipping.

The Agency for Sanitary and Epidemiological Well-Being received 226 billion soums from the Anti-Crisis Fund.

The Ministry of Finance notes that 10 billion soums were spent on daily allowances and encouragement of medical workers involved in the treatment of patients with coronavirus.

The fund for 117 billion soums were directed to the social sector, including 26 billion soums to social benefits.
