Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Fatwa Center of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Uzbekistan has established the amount of zakat, fitr sadaq and fidya for 2024.

A Muslim with an annual income of 40 million soums and above must pay 2.5% of his funds as zakat to those in need.

Fitr sadaqa is calculated based on the average price of wheat (14 thousand soums), barley (20 thousand soums), raisins (110 thousand soums) or dates (180 thousand soums).

A Muslim can give any of these products as sadaq al-fitr depending on his capabilities.

The amount of Sadaqa al-Fitr and the amount of Sadaqa al-Fidah are the same.
