Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Presidential Resolution “On additional measures to increase employment and improve the health of women” was adopted.

According to the Resolution, from 1 October 2022:

the size of the subsidy allocated to homeworkers will be increased from tenfold to fifteenfold the size of the basic estimated value (from 3 million to 4.5 million soums);

among business entities that have provided work on the basis of homework for at least 20 low-income women in mahallas of remote and hard-to-reach areas, a competition of projects will be held, the amount of each of which will be 50 million soums;

from business entities that have hired at least 5 unemployed women on the basis of homework, included in the "Women’s Notebook", when renting state-owned buildings and structures, a rent of 50 percent will be charged;

business entities operating in the production sector and organizing homework, at least 70 percent of the total number of employees of which are women included in the Women’s Notebook, and who retained their employment during the grace period, will be exempted from paying rent for renting buildings and structures of the state property by 1 October 2027.

In each district (city), "advisory hours" will be introduced at women’s entrepreneurship centers with the involvement of home-based leaders.

Among business entities that have organized new jobs in the regions on the basis of homework, a review competition “The Most Exemplary Entrepreneur” will be held.
