Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea Vitaly Fen died. 

Vitaly Fen was an outstanding statesman, master of sports and professional diplomat who devoted his life to serving the Motherland.

For 25 years, he headed the diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan in Seoul, making a huge contribution to the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.

His many years of activity significantly strengthened Uzbek-South Korean ties.

Vitaly Fen was awarded the Order of Fidokorona Khizmatlari Uchun and Mehnat Shukhrati, as well as the South Korean Order of Gwanghwa.

The team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan expressed sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
