Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The new Ambassador of Uzbekistan Rakhmatulla Nazarov presented his credentials to President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on 15 February.
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko emphasized the importance of comprehensive ties with Uzbekistan, considering it as a strategic partner in Central Asia.
He expressed gratitude to the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev for the warm welcome and substantive dialogue, which, according to him, will lead to the implementation of new breakthrough projects and the development of interregional ties.
“I am confident that you, Mr. Ambassador, as a person who has worked in Belarus and knows our country well, will be maximally involved in the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level, and will use all your knowledge and experience to strengthen bilateral ties,” said the President of Belarus.
Rakhmatulla Nazarov replaced Nosirjon Yusupov, who headed the Embassy in 2018–2021.
