Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A resolution of the President of Uzbekistan "On approval of an international treaty" was adopted on 29 April 2021.

The resolution approved the Agreement on information interaction of the CIS member states in the field of digital development of society, signed at a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States on 6 November 2020.

The Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications has been designated as the competent authority responsible for the implementation of this international treaty. 

After the entry into force of this international treaty, the Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of the relevant ministries and departments will, in the prescribed manner, ensure control over the fulfillment of the obligations of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
