Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held in the Tashkent administration with a delegation headed by Deputy Mayor of Shanghai Liu Duo.

During the meeting, representatives of the administrations of Tashkent and Shanghai discussed promising areas of cooperation.

The Uzbek side provided the guests with information about the opportunities created for local and foreign tourists. Issues of cooperation in the field of culture were also discussed.

The parties expressed confidence that this meeting will be an excellent impetus for the development of bilateral relations.

Liu Duo noted that Shanghai is interested in cooperation with Tashkent, and added that the Department of Foreign Affairs of the city of Shanghai is ready to support all initiatives in this direction.
