Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The Government adopted a resolution “On Additional Measures to Ensure Stability and Optimization of Expenditures of the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020”.

In accordance with the resolution, from April 16 to October 1, 2020, the accrual of payments to employees of budgetary organizations from the funds of the special fund for material simulation and the director's fund (with the exception of employees of medical, medical and social institutions, orphanages, as well as employees to whom they apply 1-3 categories of remuneration) is suspended.

Also, in budgetary organizations:

- expenses associated with the acquisition of fixed assets and major repairs are suspended until 1 July 2020, and the funds planned for this purpose in the II quarter are reduced or transferred to the second half of 2020;

- costs for utilities, the purchase of food, paper and other office supplies, events, maintenance and others reduced.

The resolution approved the optimized expenses of the republican and local budgets.
