Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 24 April, the 6th meeting of the Uzbek-Chinese Subcommittee on Scientific and Technical Cooperation was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan Otabek Mahkamov and the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China Chen Szyachang.

At the meeting, issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, achievements achieved in the field of science and innovation between the countries, as well as practical work planned for further implementation were discussed.

Also at the meeting, the work and achievements of the two countries based on the results of the 5th meeting of the Uzbek-Chinese Subcommittee on Scientific and Technical Cooperation, held in 2021, as well as the high level of cooperation between scientists and officials of the two countries were noted.
