Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 20 to 30 March 2019 a celebration of the French gastronomy “Goût de France” in Uzbekistan will be held in Tashkent, Bukhara and Jizzakh.

During the festival, Uzbek restaurateurs and chefs at the international gastronomy festival held on 5 continents will offer to taste dishes from the French menu, specially made for the occasion, in one of the restaurants participating in the movement “Taste of France” (“Got de France”). Various competitions with prizes, promotions and master classes are planned for the events.

This international event, which was first held on 19 March 2015, due to UNESCO’s recognition of French gastronomy as the intangible heritage of mankind, is becoming prestigious all over the world.

The aim of the Goût de France / Good France Festival is to share such values of French cuisine as: modernity, responsibility, customer care, hospitality and enjoyment of food. French cuisine is a cuisine that uses fresh seasonal and local products, a minimum amount of fat, sugar and salt, a kitchen for every budget, from a street bistro to first-class restaurants.
