The 42nd plenary session of the Senate to be held on 22 June

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 June this year, a regular meeting of the Kengash of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis was held. It was conducted by the Chairman of the Senate Tanzila Narbayeva.

At the meeting, a resolution was adopted to convene the forty-second plenary session of the Senate on 22 June 2023.

It was noted that at the plenary session, which will be held in the form of videoconferencing, it is planned to discuss a number of laws.

Among them:

"On anti-corruption expertise of legal acts and their projects";

“On the introduction of amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the State Duty”;

"On amendments and additions to the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on administrative responsibility in connection with the improvement of the procedure for determining the amount of an administrative fine imposed for non-execution of executive documents";

“On amendments and additions to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the prevention and treatment of narcological diseases”;

"On the introduction of amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the further improvement of the activities of the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan";

“On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Radio Frequency Spectrum”;

“On the ratification of the Treaty between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan on the demarcation of the Uzbek-Kazakh State border (Tashkent, December 22, 2022)”;

"On the ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on cooperation in the military-technical field (Islamabad, on 3 March 2022)".

In addition, at the plenary session it is planned to consider the results of the parliamentary inquiry sent to the Cultural Heritage Agency on measures to store museum objects and collections and ensure their safety.
