Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 25-26 April, a delegation led by First Deputy Minister of Transport Mamanbiy Omarov took part in the 2nd meeting of the Transport Coordination Committee of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in the capital of Hungary, Budapest.
 
During the meeting, the countries discussed the results of joint work within the framework of the OTS in such areas as the development of the Trans-Caspian corridor, digitalization of transportation documents and transport services, including using e-Permit, eTIR and eCMR tools, as well as the implementation of a joint action plan for the implementation of the Transport Connectivity Program adopted in November 2023 at the OTS Summit.
 
First Deputy Minister of Transport M. Omarov especially noted that, at the initiative of the Uzbek side, work is successfully underway to expand the geography of the electronic exchange of permit forms “e-Permit” between countries in order to speed up the process of cargo transportation.
