Sports 21/12/2007 Thailand and Uzbekistan kick off at Rajamangala tomorrow
The other three sides in the four-team tournament are Asian champions Iraq, Uzbekistan and North Korea.

On the opening day tomorrow, Thailand are against Uzbekistan at 5pm (live on Channel 7) and North Korea meet Iraq at 7.15pm.

Chanvit said his team would go on the attack from the start in an attempt to get three points and entertain the crowd.

"Our target is nine points from three matches. We can achieve it as our players are now fit and raring to go," he said.

The top two teams after the round-robin preliminary round will meet in the final.

Sarayuth Chaikamdee will lead the Thai attack but Chanvit has not yet decided who will be his partner up front.

Uzbekistan coach Rauf Inileyev said his players were affected by the hot weather in Bangkok and he was looking forward to an exciting match against Thailand.

Iraq coach Husam said his team, with three players from the Asian Cup side and 10 from the World Cup squad, should reach the final here although they were not well-prepared for the tournament, Bangkok Post reported.
