Tashkent regional Council of the UzLiDeP held a conference on 17 October, which was attended by representatives of the party, primary party organizations, civil society institutes and others.
The conference discussed participation of the party in upcoming elections to Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis and local Councils of People’s Deputies, work of primary party organizations in past period.
The participants underlined that the party strengthened its position in political arena. It regularly implements projects to support businesses, women and youth.
The participants discussed activities of the party in past period, its work on further developing business environment, abolishing red tape, developing activities of youth, etc.
It was noted that number of primary party organizations rose from 591 to 723, while number of their members from 21,000 to 33,000 people. The primary party organizations carried out effective work to promote goals of the party among population.
At the conference, the participants elected 33 delegates from Tashkent region, who will participate in the Sixth Congress of the UzLiDeP.
