Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Termez, intensive preparations are being made for the I Bakhshi International Art Festival under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov.

The city has prepared tourist infrastructure facilities - the Termez Archeological Museum is open for visiting, a new terminal of Termez Airport is opening, the streets of the city have been landscaped, installation of sanitary facilities has been organized in public places.

In a short time, exhibition stands of the regions of Uzbekistan were installed in the culture and recreation park “Bolajon”, representing the national flavor of each region - objects of folk applied and visual arts, national dishes and costumes.

It is worth noting that for security purposes and to help tourists during the festival in Termez tourist police will work.

In addition, a press center was created at Surkhandarya regional information and library center named after Sobir Termizi for operational coverage of the Festival, which will employ more than 30 journalists from 20 countries of the world, as well as representatives of the Uzbek media.
