Ten people killed at Moscow subway accident
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Several subway cars derailed at the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya dark blue metro line of Moscow city, Russia.

The car engineer drive used emergency brakes. A spokesman for the Emergencies Ministry said a power surge caused the train to stall and several cars to derail between the Slaviansky Boulevard and Park Pobedy stations.

The information on accident was received at 8:39 and the first anti-fire brigade came to place of the accidence, Emergencies Ministry said.

Emergencies Ministry added that several cars were derailed and there are victims. Number of victims is determined now. The anti-fire brigades are evacuating people.

According to the latest data, about 10 people died in the result of the accidents and over 106 people were injured. About 50 people are in critical conditions.

Currently, rescue works are underway at the site, Emergencies Ministry said.
