Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A 38-year-old resident of Dekhkanabad district of Kashkadarya B.U. appealed to the internal affairs authorities with a statement that an acquaintance named M.R., having prepared fake photos and videos disgracing him, distributed them in the channels of the Telegram messenger and demanded 8 million soums in exchange for their removal. This was reported by the cybersecurity center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

With regard to the attackers, M.R. and N.S., a criminal case was initiated under part 2 of article 165 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to the law, for the crime committed by M.R. and N.S., provided for a sentence of imprisonment for a term of 5 to 10 years.
