Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the nineteenth plenary session, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was discussed.

In accordance with it, amendments and additions are made to 2 codes and 2 laws.

In particular, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Political Parties" excludes norms related to the requirements for assistants to deputies, their duties, the recruitment of assistants to deputies and their remuneration. This norm is introduced into the Law “On the status of a deputy of the Legislative Chamber and a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan”. In addition, due to the fact that some taxpayers are not able to pay off tax arrears, it is envisaged to provide them with the opportunity to pay taxes in installments.

In addition, the Law amends the Customs Code, providing for the granting of the right to installment payment of customs payments to participants in foreign economic activity who have been importing goods for more than three years, fulfill their obligations on customs payments, but are not able to make payments on time due to their financial situation.

Thanks to the introduction of these changes, various interpretations of regulatory legal acts among business entities and the population are eliminated, as well as specific regulatory legal acts are being improved that contribute to increasing the attractiveness of entrepreneurial activity when attracting foreign investors.

The law was approved by the senators.
