The activities of self-employed carriers are carried out on the basis of a license card.

When issuing a license card, the requirement for the service life of the vehicle has been canceled.

The state duty for it is collected from all types of carriers (1 size of basic estimated value or 340,000 soums) once a year.

The territory of the activity is entered into the license card.

Self-employed persons must undergo a technical inspection of their vehicles.

They also undergo a medical examination once a year.

An orange light with the identification mark “TAXI” is installed on the roof of vehicles of self-employed carriers.

Persons employed in other areas based on an employment contract can carry out passenger transportation activities after registering as a self-employed person.
