Tax incentives introduced for poultry enterprises and children’s camps

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis has reviewed a draft law in its first reading aimed at supporting poultry farming and children’s health camps.

According to the draft law, poultry production enterprises will be exempt from land tax until 1 January 2030, except for taxes levied on cropland owned by legal entities.

Additionally, until 1 January 2027, stationary children’s health camps under the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan will receive tax relief. Specifically, they will be exempt from corporate income tax on rental income from buildings, structures, and land plots, as well as property tax and land tax on leased facilities and occupied land plots.

The adoption of this law aims to further develop the poultry sector, introduce modern genetic technologies, and improve conditions in children’s camps, enhancing efforts to promote children’s well-being and intellectual growth.

The draft law was conceptually approved in its first reading.
