President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a resolution “On measures to radically improve the activities of the state tax service”.

According to the document, from new year state tax bodies will provide services to taxpayers in the form of calculation of the single tax for businesses in the service sector, trade and public catering, the single land tax, land tax from legal entities, as well as the tax on personal declared income.

The document notes that taxes will be calculated on the basis of information on banking turnover of the companies, as well as other external sources.

Taxpayers will be notified of the amount of assessed taxes in the personal cabinet of the taxpayer on the Portal of electronic public services of tax authorities.

The President instructed the State Tax Committee, the Ministry of Finance, the Central Bank and the Chamber of Commerce to study the best international experience and within a month to approve a package of measures for the phased expansion of the list of taxes and other obligatory payments that are calculated by the state tax service on the basis of external data and declarations of taxpayers.
