Uzbekistan 07/05/2007 Tataristan opens representative office in Uzbekistan

Tataristan, part of Russian Federation, opened its representative office in Uzbekistan on 3 May to boost trade-economic, scientific-technical, cultural and humanitarian relations between two sides.

Timur Oqulov, Advisor of Tataristan’s President and Foreign Affairs Department director, said this is great event for Tataristan and he added that over 350,000 Tatars, living in Uzbekistan, now have their house in the country.
