Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Tashkent City Administration (Hokimiyat) with representatives of the Japanese company Mitsui Bussan Chemicals.

Sharof Rahmanov, Deputy Mayor of Tashkent, thanked the guests for their visit and provided information about the opportunities the capital offers to both local and foreign investors. He emphasized the need to accelerate cooperation in areas such as urban planning and industrial development. Rahmanov noted that these efforts are leading to the implementation of new promising projects with Japanese companies.

During the meeting, it was announced that all tests for the project to produce road marking paint products in Tashkent have been completed. This project is being carried out in collaboration with Mitsui Bussan Chemicals, ATOMIX, and their local partner ATOMIT.

Mr. Akimoto, a representative of Mitsui Bussan Chemicals, expressed interest in collaborating with Tashkent and noted that further development of relations between Tashkent and Japanese regions aligns with the interests of both countries.

A memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed during the meeting between the Tashkent City Administration and the companies Mitsui Bussan Chemicals, ATOMIX, and ATOMIT for the implementation of the road marking paint production project.

The parties agreed to continue joint efforts aimed at realizing mutually beneficial interests.
