The document said that Tashkent city carried out huge construction, accomplishment, planting of trees and gardens, creation of favourable conditions for population and improvement of sanitary- epidemiological situation in the city.

The decision said that in recent years there are several problems on ensuring cleanness at territories, polluting territories around houses, channels, aryks, which negatively impact ecology.

The decision was adopted to ensure protection of nature in Tashkent city, improve ecology and sanitary-epidemiological situation, prevent negative impact to environment and raise ecologic culture of population.

The document noted that it is necessary to carry out exploitation work among population on ensuring cleanness at territories and improving ecologic culture among population and employees of Tashkent-based enterprises, organizations and institutions.

The decision said that explanation work of areas around houses, streets, squares and aryks should be conducted among population. The population should also be informed that garbage should be disposed to allocated places.

The document said that population should sort, collect and withdraw garbage in line with set rules, in line with which garbage should be sorted into special colored bags and place to special containers at waste collection points.

The document banned to withdraw and store waste around buildings, houses and establishments, streets, aryks and other unassigned places. The decision also banned to burn tree branches and leaves, waste, dried plants and pollute environment.

The document said that population should not be indifferent to cases of negative impact of ecology of Tashkent city, pollution of environment, disposal of waste at unassigned places and should inform authorized persons on such cases.

Tashkent city Council of People’s Deputies entrusted corresponding state bodies and organizations to conduct lessons on ecologic culture, cleanness of environment, sanitary-hygiene rules, environment protection, order of waste disposal.

The organizations should determine persons, who pollute environment, violate sanitary-hygiene rules, disposing waste to assigned places, etc. Population should also clean streets and areas of houses.

State department on accomplishment of Tashkent city and Mahsustras, as well as local administrations were entrusted to increase number of garbage containers in the city and clean them in time.
