Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 26 April to 12 May 2024, the VIII International Jazz Festival will be held in Tashkent.

The event will be organized by the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan with the support of the embassies of various Eurasian countries.

The festival is held with the participation of the UNESCO Representative Office in Uzbekistan. The event is dedicated to International Jazz Day, which is celebrated on 30 April around the world.

The festival will feature artists from Germany, Israel, Indonesia, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, France and Switzerland.

It is expected that such musicians as Gregory Porter, Kenny Garrett, Igor Butman and others will also perform at the festival. On 27 April, jazz groups from Uzbekistan will perform.

All concerts of the festival this year will be held in the open air on the site behind the Palace of International Forums “Uzbekistan”.

Admission to the event is free.
