Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The General Assembly of the Asian Equestrian Federation (AEF) in Qatar was a success. On behalf of our country, the Chairman of the Federation of Horse Breeding and Equestrian Sports of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Gaziev and the Secretary General of the Federation Nodir Ibragimov took part in it on behalf of our country.
At the event, with the participation of the National Federations of 35 member countries of the Organization, issues such as preparations for the Asian Games Hangzhou-2022 and the Olympic Games Paris-2024, the safe sending of horses to these competitions, as well as determining the location of the next AEF General Assembly, which will be held in 2024.
It is worth noting that at the upcoming AEF General Assembly, elections will be held for the posts of the President of the Organization and his deputy. Oman, Kuwait and Uzbekistan claimed the venue for the next General Assembly. When making the final decision, special attention was paid to the development of equestrian sports in our country, the achievements of domestic riders on the world stage, and the recent holding of prestigious international events at a high level in Tashkent. As a result, our capital was recognized as a worthy place to organize the next General Assembly.
The meeting, which will take place on the eve of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, will serve to raise the development of equestrian sports in our country to a new level.
