Tashkent to host next CIS FMs meeting

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Next session of the Council of the Foreign Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will be held in Tashkent, chairperson of Executive Committee Sergey Levedev said after the session of the CIS Foreign Ministers Meeting, which was held in Ashgabat.

Council of the Foreign Ministers of the CIS selected Tashkent as the next venue for the summit of the CIS Foreign Ministers, Sergey Lebedev said.

Head of the CIS Executive Committee added that the Uzbek side proposed to host the meeting.

As reported earlier, Council of the Foreign Ministers of the CIS was held in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) on 4 December 2012.
