Tashkent to host Korean songs contest

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Embassy of South Korea in Uzbekistan is planning to hold the Seventh contest for the best performance of Korean song at Turkiston Palace in Tashkent on 13 June 2018.

The contest was organized for the first time in 2012 and held annually. The qualification round was held on 26 May and the winners will present their songs at Turkiston Palace.

Twelve bands qualified to finals from total 77 teams, including 174 participants.

The winner will become a candidate to participate in the K-POP World Festival 2018 contest.

The Embassy said that this year, the contest will include lottery and a photo exhibition dedicated to South Korea.
