According to preliminary information, fencers with foils from Tashkent, Samarkand, and Andijan regions of Uzbekistan, as well as fencers from France will participate at the event. Individual competitions will be held on the first day and team competitions – on the second day.

The competition is directed at developing and popularizing fencing in Uzbekistan, strengthening friendly relations and mutual understanding among youth of France and Uzbekistan.

President of French Fencing Federation Frédéric Pietruszka will participate in opening ceremony of the event. He will also hold talks with officials of Uzbekistan Fencing Federation, National Olympic Committee and Ministry of Culture and Sport of Uzbekistan.
