Tashkent to host first international exhibition of environmental technologies – Eco Expo Central Asia 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 19 to 21 June 2025, the Central Asian Expo (CAEx) exhibition center in Tashkent will host the inaugural Eco Expo Central Asia 2025, the region’s largest specialized event dedicated to cutting-edge environmental technologies, sustainable development, and green innovation.

The exhibition aims to bring together key stakeholders in the environmental sector — including government and private institutions, industry leaders, research organizations, and international experts — to showcase pioneering solutions and practices that contribute to environmental protection and a sustainable future.

Eco Expo Central Asia 2025 is expected to welcome over 200 exhibitors from more than 25 countries, including Turkiye, China, the UAE, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Germany, and others. The exhibition will spotlight areas such as eco-AI, water conservation, renewable energy, ecotourism, sustainable urban planning, and clean technologies.

The event is organized by the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It is held as part of the Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy, declared by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, highlighting the country’s commitment to strengthening environmental policy and fostering international collaboration in this field.

Eco Expo Central Asia 2025 offers participants a unique opportunity to present innovative solutions, establish business contacts, enter new markets, and join the global movement for environmental sustainability. The program will feature B2B meetings, expert panel discussions, thematic presentations, startup pitch sessions, and live demonstrations of environmental projects.

The exhibition will also highlight regional initiatives from across Uzbekistan, involving key ministries and agencies, academic institutions, ecotourism destinations, and private companies implementing sustainable technologies. Dedicated thematic zones will include: Green Cities, CleanTech, Eco-Finance, Protected Areas, Green Transport, and Urban Greening.

A strong cultural and educational component will complement the event, with a photography exhibition and video competition on Uzbekistan’s natural heritage, the screening of a documentary on the country’s environmental efforts, and art installations exploring the synergy between humans and nature.

More than just an exhibition, Eco Expo Central Asia 2025 will serve as a strategic platform shaping the region’s environmental agenda. For three days, Tashkent will become a hub for dialogue on the future of sustainability, green entrepreneurship, and innovative approaches to environmental protection.
