Tashkent to host exhibition “Ceramics without borders”
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Embassy of Israel and Ceramics Studio of Rakhimovs will present a project “Ceramics without borders”, which will present creative works of Roy Maayan of Israel and Alisher Rakhimov of Uzbekistan.

Israeli and Uzbek ceramics are famous worldwide. Works of the ceramists were serving people for a long time, creating good mood.

Roy Maayan and Alisher Rakhimov are one of famous ceramists in Israel and Uzbekistan and they represent dynasty of potters.

Dynasty of Rakhimovs has six generations of ceramics masters. One of the most outstanding of its representatives is Mukhitdin Rakhimov, who left a huge mark on the development of the national ceramics in Uzbekistan. In our time, Akbar Rakhimov and his son Alisher are continuing family traditions.

Israeli ceramist Roy Maayan is a participant of numerous exhibitions and contemporary installations in Israel and around the world.

The exhibition will open its work on 19 April, but the visitors will be able to watch it at Rakhimovs’ ceramics studio on 20-26 April.
