Tashkent to host Asian Chess Championship
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Championship of Asian on chess among juniors at the age of up to 20 will be held in Tashkent from 30 May 2012 to 7 June 2012.
The tournament will attract 50 young chess maters from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, India, the UAE and Vietnam. Tashkent will host the maiden tournament of such level.
The event is organized by Fund Forum, Uzbekistan Chess Federation, Asian Chess Federation and Ministry of Culture and Sport Affairs of Uzbekistan.
The tournament will be held in Swiss system and will consist of nine rounds. Uzbekistan will be represented b 20 youngsters.
