Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The capital of Uzbekistan will host an International Conference of Analytical Centers from member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), dedicated to expanding trade potential and deepening economic integration. The theme of the forum is "Expanding Trade Potential Among OTS Member States: Joint Research and Strategic Solutions."

The event is organized by the Center for Economic Research and Reforms (CERR) with the support of the OTS Secretariat. The conference is held within the framework of an initiative by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, announced at the 11th Summit of Turkic State Leaders in Bishkek on November 6, 2024.

The main objective of the conference is to develop practical measures to enhance trade and economic cooperation between OTS countries. The discussions will focus on:

Reducing trade barriers and optimizing customs procedures;

Developing digital trade platforms;

Strengthening regional integration through infrastructure projects;

Sustainable development and the "green" economy.

The forum will feature four thematic sessions:

"Current State and Prospects of Trade Within the OTS"

"Digital Transformation and Innovations in Trade"

"Regional Integration: Transport and Logistics"

"Sustainable Development: Ecology and Socio-Demographic Aspects"

Leading experts will participate in the conference, including:

Mereya Mukazhan, Deputy Secretary General of the OTS;

Askhad Kesikbaev, Vice President of the Turkic Academy;

Representatives of analytical centers from OTS member countries.

The outcomes of the forum will form the basis of recommendations for shaping the economic policy of the Organization, aimed at deepening cooperation and increasing the global competitiveness of Turkic states.

The event will serve as an important platform for professional dialogue, exchange of experience, and strengthening partnerships between experts and development institutions in the region.
