Tashkent to host AFC Futsal Championship in 2016
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
AFC Futsal Championship 2016 will be held in Tashkent, the press service of the Uzbekistan Football Federation said.
The decision was adopted by the Futsal and Beach Football Committee of the AFC. Executive Committee of the AFC approved the decision.
The AFC also approved the dates of the tournament. The tournament will be held from 9 to 20 February 2016.
Tashkent twice hosted the AFC Futsal Championship in 2006 and 2010. Next year tournament will serve as qualification round for the World Cup.
Four semifinalists of the AFC Futsal Championship will book tickets to the World Championship, which will be held in Columbia in 2016.
