Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Council of People’s Deputies of Tashkent has approved the allocation of 40 billion soums in the first stage for the development of the master plan of the capital, taking into account the "New Tashkent."

This decision was made on 4 December, taking into account the 73rd protocol on the President’s assignments, within the framework of presenting prospective projects and the construction of objects of republican significance.

In July 2023, a resolution on the construction of the "New Tashkent" was adopted, within which relevant structures and positions were introduced for coordinating and implementing the project.
