Tashkent, Tehran commerce chambers ink memorandum
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Head of Chamber of commerce and Industry of Tashkent Shavkat Mirzaev held negotiations with chairman of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce and Industries and Mines Yaya Ale-Eshaq on Saturday. The two parties spoke on the common point to cooperate with each other.

Yahya Ale-Eshaq in this meeting emphasized on the expansion of economic relation and said: “Our bilateral relations value about US$300 million now but it does not satisfy our expectations”.

Ale-Eshaq pointed to the obstacles in the way of expanding relations and said: “Banking relations and custom bureaucracy are the biggest problems for our merchants and the two chambers as the parliament of private sector have to facilitate these situations”.

Head of Tehran chamber of commerce, industries and mines also declared the readiness of Tehran chamber to cooperate in all economic fields and informed Uzbek investors to investment in Iran and cooperate on common projects.

Shavkat Mirzaev also emphasized on reinforce of bilateral relations and said: “We should help the economic activists to upgrade our rules and increase the volume of our economic exchanges”.

Head of Tashkent chamber encouraged the Iranian investors to invest in Tashkent stock exchange market. He said if the Iranian companies enter to the Tashkent stock exchange market they gain some privilege for the import and export goods.

At the end of this meeting two parties signed a memorandum of understanding to continue their cooperation for increasing economic exchanges.
