Tashkent team loses in semifinals of World Cities Chess Team Championship

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tashkent team could not qualify to finals of World Cities Chess Team Championship, which is taking place in the United Arab Emirates.

In semifinal, Tashkent city team lost to the Dutch city of Hoogeveen with the score 3-1.

Marat Jumaev and Andrei Kwon lost their matches, while Saidali Yuldashev and Alexei Barsov played draw.

Now, Tashkent will play against team of Serbian city of Novi Sad for the third place match.
