Tashkent Records 4,350 Traffic Accidents in Eight Months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to August 2025, a total of 4,350 road traffic accidents were registered in Tashkent. This represents a 13% decrease compared to the same period last year, when 5,008 incidents were recorded.

The highest number of accidents occurred in Yunusabad district — 561 cases. Almost as many incidents were reported in Chilanzar (555) and Yashnabad (554) districts.

Other districts reported the following numbers of accidents: Mirzo-Ulugbek — 475, Shayhantahur — 363, Almazar — 337, Uchtepa — 316, Sergeli — 288, Mirabad — 269, Bektemir — 217, Yakkasaray — 210, and Yangihayot — 205.
