Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The 29th Tashkent International Tourism Fair "Tourism on the Silk Road" (TIMF) will take place on 21 to 23 November at the "Central Asian Expo Uzbekistan" (CAEx) exhibition complex.
This event will be pivotal for the tourism industry in Uzbekistan and the Central Asian region, gathering national and international tourism companies, local and international organizations, associations, hotel representatives, airlines, online booking systems, transport companies, and many others.
The TIMF program will feature conferences, B2B meetings, roundtable discussions, exhibitions of tourism services and applied arts, presentations of the tourism potential of Uzbekistan’s regions, a gastronomic festival, and other activities. The fair serves not only as a meeting point but also as a platform for dialogue, experience exchange, and the promotion of the cultural and historical heritage of various countries.
For participants, the fair will be an excellent opportunity to showcase their tourism products and strengthen connections with partners worldwide. Since its inception in 1995, TIMF has been held with the support of the UN World Tourism Organization and has established itself as a key event for Uzbekistan’s tourism sector, attracting attention from experts and professionals from different countries.
Last year, a record number of participants registered for TIMF: over 300 industry representatives from 30 countries and 13,000 visitors attended the event over three days.
The 29th TIMF is expected to be even more significant and engaging, highlighting Uzbekistan’s rich tourism potential and the region as a whole.
