The agency said that Embassy of Uzbekistan in the USA and Seattle-Tashkent Sister City Association organized the opening of the park, which was attended by the officials of Seattle, Seattle-Tashkent Sister City Association, city citizens and others.

The park was fully renovated. In the result, the park’s look was improved. Road infrastructure updated fully.

Deputy mayor of Seattle Hyeok Kim expressed her support for implemented measures directed at strengthening cultural, educational and business exchanges, as well as further deepening understanding between people of two states.

She said that Tashkent Park symbolized not only historic partnership relations, but also fruitful cooperation of two states and nations.
