Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the first half of 2024, the Tashkent Metro transported 131.9 million passengers, marking a 62.8% increase compared to the same period in 2023, according to the Uzbekistan Statistics Agency.

The average daily ridership was 724,000 people, which represents a 61% increase compared to the previous year.
