Representatives of the Committee on industry, construction and trade of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, ministries and departments, Federation of Society on Protection Consumer Rights, the committee’s press service said.

One of the main directions of the activity of the State Demonopolization Committee is to conduct measures on further improving legal foundation for developing in competition environment, avoiding unfair competition in markets, including in advertisement market, protecting consumer interests and others.

The seminar considered issues of improving legislative base, promoting legislation among population, protecting their rights and interests, creating equal conditions for formation of competition at the service and trade markets, including advertisement sector. Participants exchanged opinion on these issues and adopted document on considered problems.
