Tashkent hosts talks on Uzbek-Belarusian cooperation development
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 25 March, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held negotiations with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Pavel Utyupin. During the meeting, the parties discussed pressing issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, as well as the implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.
Saidov and Utyupin emphasized the importance of further strengthening Uzbek-Belarusian partnership in trade, economy, culture, and politics.
Particular attention was given to the implementation of previous agreements, the development of joint projects, and collaboration within international organizations.
Uzbekistan’s foreign minister highlighted that relations between the two countries are based on mutual trust and shared interests.
"Our partnership continues to demonstrate steady progress thanks to our mutual commitment to achieving tangible results," Saidov stated.
For his part, Pavel Utyupin reaffirmed Belarus’ readiness to deepen cooperation with Uzbekistan, particularly in trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
At the conclusion of the talks, both sides agreed to step up joint efforts in the outlined areas. In the near future, new meetings are expected to further develop specific initiatives and expand cooperation.
