Tashkent hosts session of NGO “Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens”
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Republican Public Council of NGO “Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens of Uzbekistan” held a session in Tashkent.

It was noted that Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens of Uzbekistan, Women’s Council, Social Initiatives Support Fund, Federation of Trust Unions of Uzbekistan, Fund Forum, Mehr Nuri and other public organizations, as well as businesses and citizens are carrying out accomplishment works in cities and rural areas of Uzbekistan.

Within the charity events, participants planed over 10,000 trees across Uzbekistan. Among the participants are also people, who earlier received assistance of information centers of Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens of Uzbekistan, who donate trees.

Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens of Uzbekistan also supported initiative on improving street lightening in cities and settlements. For example, some 212 lamps were installed in Jizzakh city.

Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens of Uzbekistan also supported over 100 various charity events dedicated to Navruz, which will be implemented in March-April. For example, NGO supported construction of new gas pipeline in Yettikon mahalla in Namangan region, which was constructed with efforts of people and businesses.

At the session, Forum of Socially Responsible Citizens of Uzbekistan considered a proposal on organization of family events like a campaign “1000 weddings and 1000 sunnat-tuys”, which was held in 2012.

Entrepreneur from Shahrihan Lutfiddin Nishonov offered to help young families in repairing their appartments and houses. Businessperson from Surkhandarya region Amirkul Holiyor proposed to help young families to purchase furniture, electronics and consumer goods.
